Mar’s Musing on AI

Welcome to Mar's Musings.

I hope you're navigating the energy shifts brought by the full moon with grace. Lately, there's been much buzz around AI, a topic that captivates and confounds us with numerous perspectives and uncertainties about its future.

Recently, I came across a thought-provoking podcast featuring Mo Gawdat, the former Chief Business Officer at Google X. He shared profound insights about AI's rapid advancement, prompting questions about its potential impact on our lives in the next 3 years. He left Google to share his message of attention about AI with us. Mo's candid conversation with Steven Bartlett made me reflect on my place in this AI-driven world.

Should I embrace it or fear missing out? Many friends are already involved in AI-related projects, which adds to my contemplation. The most touching moment is at the end where Mo, who lost his 21 year old son, says he doesn't wish for him to come back into the world we are creating. The line that stood out was that "AI is a bigger threat than Climate Change for us".

Interestingly, even in my video logs, AI plays a part in generating the text - saving me time as I edit it (as I am doing just now). It raises ethical concerns, yet it also helps me save time.

The question of authenticity arises – our unique voice, experiences, and interpretations remain untouched by AI. In the midst of this mayhem, I believe our inner core and authenticity are paramount.

AI may streamline jobs, but it cannot replace the essence of who we are and the gifts we offer to the world. Our authenticity is the key to embracing the future with positivity.

If AI intrigues or concerns you, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Let's find our middle ground in engaging with AI while staying true to our inner voice and purpose…

Stay positive, find your alignment, and flourish in your uniqueness.

Love, Mar Michelle
