The Energy of Money
Mar’s Musing on the Energy of Money
This week on Mars Musings, we're back with an integral topic that resurfaces time and time again - Money.
Last week we discussed the concept of entrepreneurship and how we can imbibe the spirit and energy necessary to bring our projects to life. Now, we're navigating back to the domain of money.
Money is ubiquitous in our lives. It's an entity we interact with daily, no matter who we are or where we stand in life. Though we may long for alternative modes of exchange, at present, money is the lifeline of our everyday exchanges.
Our relationship with money is thus vital, yet often overlooked. At times, it feels easier to sweep the money matters under the carpet, conveniently avoiding them, rather than confronting and addressing them head-on. But the price we pay for this evasion is usually steep: fear, lack of clarity, and tangled narratives we attach to our financial dealings.
Consider this your gentle nudge to unravel those tightly wound stories, to assess your relationship with money.
Does it bring about feelings of fear, of lack of control?
Or is there an avoidance pattern lurking beneath your financial habits?
It's time we bring those fears into the light, stare at them, and eventually, disperse them.
Acknowledging and dealing with our financial realities can be daunting, especially for women who traditionally have shied away from the topic. But the first step towards empowerment is acknowledging the existence of a problem.
This week, I invite you to truly introspect, to delve into your money story.
Where are you stuck in your financial journey, and where does money flow freely for you?
How can you rewrite this narrative and foster a positive relationship with money?
Money, after all, is a tool – one that can facilitate both the dark and the light. It can manifest incredible things, drive our entrepreneurial endeavours, and empower us to contribute meaningfully to the world. But with money comes responsibility and choice.
So, where do you wish to channel your money?
Where do you intend your money to flow?
I encourage you to reflect on these questions and start breaking down your financial barriers. To assist you further, I've included some reflective questions below to kickstart your introspection journey.
What is your money story?
How do/did your parents deal with money?
What patterns and behaviours did you inherit from your family?
Do you remember prominent memories in your childhood around money?
For those who are part of our Female Investment Group, we will be delving deeper into the psychology of money this week. If you're based in Lisbon, I will also be conducting a special money game on Friday (2nd June), a unique opportunity to unpack and release any emotional resistance you might have towards money.
I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences about your money stories.
How are you working towards unblocking the path to abundance?
Feel free to reach out with your insights or questions.
Remember, every step you take towards understanding your relationship with money brings you closer to financial freedom and empowerment.
Love,
Mar Michelle xx
