Investing for your future

Mar’s Musing on Investing For Your Future

This week on Mar’s Musings I want to touch on the topic of Investing for your future!

Thank you to the over 30 of you who replied to my questionnaire, I really appreciate your feedback.

… So following this topic of Money and Finances, once you’re on top of your budget and the emergency fund has been saved - investments are the next step forward.

Many women shy away from this topic as it seems scary and there is a lack of easy to understand knowledge out there, or maybe you’ve been told from young that you’re not good with numbers. Oftentimes there are also stories of investment losses, and fears come up… however it doesn’t have to and shouldn’t be this way!

The pay gap is 20% between men and women, but by the time we reach retirement it’s 40% as women normally “save” and men “invest”.

Albert Einstein famously referred to compounding interest as the eighth wonder of the world. He states that those who understand it will thrive and earn, and those who don’t pay.

So what are all these terms? And how can you start investing towards financial freedom, to earn passive income and build up your financial strategy towards your goals?

Plus did you know that it’s estimated by Schroeders that 60% of UK wealth will be in women's hands by 2025 - The Future of Finance is Female!

Marieka Finot and myself will be hosting an IG Live on Thursday 11th May at 12 pm Portugal time / 1pm CET on Investing for Women - The Future of Finance is Female. Join us to learn more about this topic and ask questions!

I look forward to finally sharing more on this subject, and opening “Pandora's box” on investing to reveal what’s inside (not so scary after all!!!).

Please feel free to share your experiences with me (I know this is a difficult topic)… Anything else to ask on this topic, reply to this email or the questionnaire below.

I can’t wait to unpack this topic with you!

Warmly,

Mar
