Alignment: How to Achieve Success through Flow in Life
Alignment: How to Achieve Success through Flow in Life
Today, I want to talk about the importance of getting into Alignment—finding that flow where everything seems to move in the right direction. This idea has come up repeatedly with my clients recently and in my own life, and I think it’s essential to touch upon how powerful alignment can be for your overall well-being, especially when it comes to finances, career, and life purpose.
Sometimes, we push so hard on doors that refuse to open, thinking we must do more, structure more, and control more. We end up trapped in "doing mode" and forget to step back into "being mode." Now, I’m not saying to just sit still and meditate (although there’s tremendous value in quiet moments). There’s a wonderful book I love called The Surrender Experiment by Michael Singer, which really encapsulates the idea of surrendering and trusting life to unfold in ways beyond our control. It’s a book that, for me, symbolised a shift in how I approached my own journey, and I highly recommend it for anyone exploring alignment and purpose.
Alignment is key. The more aligned you are with your purpose and your life, the more everything begins to flow. That includes your finances, your career, your relationships, and the opportunities that come your way. It’s almost as if, when you’re clear on what you want and where you’re heading, life responds by showing you signs, opening doors, and helping things fall into place.
I’ll share a story about one of my clients, who had a desire to swim in a lake like he used to in his twenties. He missed that sense of freedom and was contemplating ways to incorporate that back into his life. The very next day, someone suggested he buy a boat on that same lake—an affordable option that would give him the space to swim, work, and even sleep there. It was a perfect example of how things begin to align when you allow life to guide you.
However, alignment also requires clearing the path. That means cleaning out old patterns, narratives, and energies that no longer serve you. Whether it's limiting beliefs around money, old habits that hold you back, or even outdated goals that no longer resonate with your true self—it’s time to let them go. It’s like cleaning the pipes so that fresh energy can flow through, allowing you to receive the opportunities life has for you.
Getting into alignment is about striking that balance between doing and being. It’s not about sitting back and waiting for life to happen, but about staying in a state of openness and readiness—being receptive to the messages life is sending your way. When you find this balance, it’s like you’re in a beautiful dance with life. You put your energy into the world, and life responds by guiding you in ways you may not have anticipated.
I’ve seen this play out with many of the women I’m working with in the group coaching program. They’ve been doing the groundwork—budgeting, structuring their finances, and getting clear on their next steps. And the more they’ve brought structure into their lives, the more they’ve noticed synchronicities. Suddenly, opportunities arise: offers to evaluate their homes, new living arrangements, or unexpected financial opportunities. It’s like everything begins to fall into place once they’ve gotten into alignment.
Alignment isn’t just about money—though money is a part of the flow. It’s about aligning every part of your life with the energy you want to put out into the world. Money, like everything else, flows more easily when we’re in a state of alignment. I recently shared a story about a client who had reached rock bottom, only to discover that a long-forgotten 1% stake in a company he had helped years ago turned into a $150,000 check that sustained his family. These kinds of stories aren’t just miracles; they are manifestations of alignment.
So, I ask you: are you ready to get into alignment? Ready to clean out the old patterns and narratives that don’t serve you anymore, and open yourself up to receiving what life has to offer? Whether it's financial stability, career opportunities, or personal fulfilment, the key is to find that balance between putting in the work and being open to what life is reflecting back to you.
I encourage you to reflect on your own life and share any stories of synchronicities or moments of alignment that have come up for you. What steps are you taking toward getting into alignment, and how are you clearing the path for your financial and personal well-being?
I’d love to hear your stories, your insights, and your thoughts. Let’s continue walking this path together, in alignment, so you can live your life with more joy, purpose, and financial well-being.
Thank you for being here. Keep dancing in synchronicity with life, and let’s put more of your gifts into the world.
With love and alignment,
Mar
